What to Expect

LASIK procedures take place in our LASIK surgical suite, conveniently located at our Katy East locaon. Our surgical counselors take the me to walk you through the process prior to your scheduled surgery so you can arrive knowing what to expect in preparaon for surgery, the day of surgery and aer. On the day of your surgery, you'll spend the majority of the me meeng with the surgical counselor for final preparaons and having your pre-operave exam with one of our designated doctors.

Here’s a quick glimpse of your LASIK experience at Whitse Vision Group:

• Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a surgical counselor to review final instrucons

• The pre-operave exam will be completed to ensure ocular health for surgery

• Move into the LASIK suite pre-and post-operave area to relax and prepare for your procedure

• You will then be guided into the surgical suite for your new vision experience which typically

• takes just a few minutes!

• Transion back into the LASIK suite pre-and post-operave area for addional relaxaon

• A post-operave exam will be conducted to review aer care instrucons and answer any addional quesons you may have

• Head home for rest the remainder of the day!

We want to make this process relaxed and enjoyable for your family and friends as well who may be accompanying you. We provide a viewing area just outside of the surgical suite as well as a TV display to view the procedure. Your guests will have the opportunity to see for themselves how your vision is improved in a maer of minutes! If they prefer not to watch, they can wait in our comfortable waing
area unl your procedure is complete.
