Botox

What is Botox?

A non-surgical treatment that requires little to no recovery time, BOTOX® Cosmetic has become one of the most commonly chosen solutions for cosmetic enhancement in America. Dr. Woon offers her patients BOTOX® Cosmetic to give them a chance to achieve the youthful look they’ve always wanted. BOTOX® Cosmetic can temporarily relax the muscles that cause inconvenient and unwanted wrinkles and folds in your facial skin.

Although BOTOX® Cosmetic won’t reverse or eliminate wrinkles caused by sun damage and isn’t suggested for the lines around your mouth, each of our patients’ needs and requests are different and require a tailored treatment plan.

Note: Dr Woon has begun to offer Daxxify, a new neurotoxin that can last up to six months. At this time she prefers to offer this option to patients experienced with neurotoxin and who have already had treatment with her.

What can Botox treat?

Approved by the FDA as a provisional treatment for moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows, BOTOX® Cosmetic can also be used to treat other facial lines, such as crow’s feet and furrowed forehead wrinkles. Ideal for individuals 18 to 65 years of age, BOTOX® injections provide appreciable, long-lasting wrinkle reduction.

What to Expect

After a consultation with Dr. Woon, you will have a well-established and individualized care plan that will optimize your results, helping you achieve your aesthetic goals.

Dr. Woon uses very tiny insulin syringes to administer Botox and most patients do not require any anesthetic at all although it is available. Ice is also a very effective analgesic.

From Dr. Cybele Woon

“This was my entry into medical aesthetics! I learned to use neurotoxins to help my neurological patients to treat chronic migraines as well as facial and eyelid spasms. The progression to cosmetic Botox was natural and I have found that helping people look better helps them feel better too! The key to neurotoxins is proper dosing and placement to maintain natural movement and appearance.”
